To be licensed as a Cayman vacation villa rental, Grand Cayman rentals must past yearly inspections by The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, The Cayman Islands Fire Department and The Environmental Health Department of The Cayman Islands.

FYI: All licensed Grand Cayman short term vacation rentals are required by Law to pay an accommodation tax to the Cayman Islands Government of 10% of the rental, regardless of where the owner lives or operates the rental of their Grand Cayman short term vacation rental property from.

Any Grand Cayman property operating as a short term rental (rentals of 6 months or less) are required by Law to be licensed and past yearly inspections by The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, The Cayman Islands Fire Department and The Environmental Health Department of The Cayman Islands.
