Salt ocean air is an undying tyrant that affects all metal surfaces, yes; even stainless steel is affected (although with much elbow grease this can be cleaned). After replacing several stainless steel propane grills because of the salt air corrosion to the interior elements, it was decided that charcoal grills would be more efficient for this Grand Cayman vacation villa. Recognizing that some family members and guests have food allergies, two separate grills were custom built allowing for individual cooking of foods. A sand swept outdoor terrace welcomes guests to dine under the gentle sway of the overhead sun shade.
